I reformatted PC. How do I rereceived all my messages from gmail?

I recently reformatted my computer. I reinstalled Outlook 2007.
I set up my gmail account on outlook but it only retrieves the recent emails
from gmail. How do I get Outlook to retrieve EVERYTHING from gmail. I never
deleted any emails on gmail so they're still all there.

You have to log into gmail and adjust the POP options to allow downloading
of read messages.

That depends how you connected from Outlook to Gmail. If you have used
POP/SMTP, then you have probably downloaded all messages to a PST file.
In that case, just open that PST file (or backup) from Outlook.

If you connected to Gmail via IMAP, then all your messages are still on
the Gmail server. Just configure your Outlook to use IMAP for Gmail.
