I need to start again, PLEASE HELP

My cpu is rooted(i think). Ive sytem restored a few too many times and theres
alot of crap on their I dont want, like 50 gigs of unwanted files, back up
copys of this that and the other. Can someone please tell me how I delete
everything, reformat my hard drive what eva it takes, to just go back to zero
and start agin. Like, I want to re install windows and just start again,
someone please help.

Well, as far as System Restore goes, you can clear all past points simple by
turning it off, then turning it back on again. You will find that option by
right clicking My Computer>system restore tab>put a mark next to 'turn off
system restore'
Then, if you have your Windows xp installation cd, and are sure you want to
reinstall xp, put the cd in the cdrom, restart your computer and follow the
prompts. Bellow is a link to an article on the steps involved, read it
fully before you do anything.
And remember, it is important to disable your ANTIVIRUS before you reinstall
Windows.

Take a sledge hammer to your computer, and buy a new one.
