I have a report that I need to send out to my regional offices - most of them
do not have Access - but they all have excel -

The access report has a photo (.bmp) in one of the of the fields that
changes per record. How can I sent it to excell or word and have the picture
show?

If you want to preserve the formatting (and pictures) in a report, you'd
generally save and send it using the Microsoft Snapshot format and
distribute the snapshot viewer to all your users. You could also try to
save it as a PDF file using a third-party PDF writer such as "cutepdf.exe".

I don't think you will have much luck getting exactly what you want with
Excel or Word. They are not really intended to save the exact formatting.

or better yet; you could jsut export to the built in Snapshot format

docmd.outputTo has an argument for snapshot format (SNP)

they MIGHT need to install the viewer in the other offices; that is
much simpler and better than all that PDF bullcrap you'd have to put up
with

do you want to update acrobat reader?
are you sure you dont?

how about photoshop elements

GAG worst program ever written is acrobat reader.. i mean-- it's SLOW
AS SHIT
