I download a movie file which is about 200MB but when opening it the movie file only display 2.30 seconds, than it say something about license needed to update, something like that, and after downloading the license the movie still can be view only showing a trailer of the movie, so i need some help what really happen?

Well having done some math in my head, if this is an uncompressed AVI file,
200mb is going to be about 1 minute. However I doubt it's uncompressed,
though it's possible.

What is the extension of the file in question? Have you tried analyzing it
with G-Spot (codec analyzer) to find out which codec it was compressed with
in the first place:

Once you know the correct codec, you'll need to download and install the
right package.

I don't know of any legal movie file online that is 200mb in size, so if
it's something you got from somewhere like Kazaa that is illegally
distributed, you really should be asking elsewhere.
