I need some Advise

I am stuck on this one unable to get it going,


I have a list of barcode numbers in a spreadsheet, 2,000 estimate.
no two the same.

I have 2,000 box's estimate with all the barcodes on the box's, no tw
the same.

I need to use a hand scan gun , scan each box to verify it is on th
spreadsheet.


here is my problem, this is an audit that i have to make dummy proo
and fast.
the audit is done on the factory floor, with the box's coming down
conveyor at the rate of 600 per hour.

the audit is normally done by hand one box at a time, to verify th
barcode number is on the sheet, the numbers are 18 digits long, an
take's up to 30 hrs
times two pepole to do it, no scan gun , just a pen.

my job is to make down to 5 hrs, I am trying to get it to work, but
am having problems with making it were the screen will show stop, o
beep , or anything, when a barcode is scanned and not on th
spreadsheet, so that box can be pulled off to the side and reseache
later.


any info at all will help me alot

Post the code you are using now and perhaps someone can pointout how it can
be modified.

also, any description of where the barcodes are on the worksheet (workbook
name, worksheet name, cells occupied and with what). Where the scanned code
is placed in the sheet.
