i just recently built my own computer and i downloaded windows xp home
edition on to it. Now though it requires me to insert the windows xp disc
every single time i start up my computer. It goes to setup and then the only
way i can start up windows is to reboot after that. Does anyone know a way
where i dont have to use my windows disk?

Set your BIOS so that the machine boots from the hard disk.

well i tried that and it still wont boot up from my hard drive. I thought
something went wrong with the installation so when windows went into setup i
tried to the "recovery option", but i need an administrator password...and i
have no clue what it is?
