I need help for IE 6.0

I am trying to fix a Dell Laptop for my cousin. The
intergrated Internet Explorer verison (meaning it's part
of Windows XP Home Edition)is not working but Internet
Explorer that comes intergrated with AOL Broadband works.

One day, my cousin took to his laptop to work, there his
boss tried to connect the laptop to their network. From
then on, Internet Explorer does not work.

have you tried running the connection wizard:
Tools/internet options/connections/setup ?
