I am somewhat new in creating formulas in a spreadhset I have created...there
are about 10-12 formulas that I believe are very simple but I cannot figure
out how to do it..I do not expect something for nothing..If there are anyone
that does this for a living..I am willing to pay for your services..I can
email my spreadsheet..so we can talk..

thanks for your reply..

Very simple.

You pose a question and give a little detail:

"I have data in column F. I add to this data daily. How can I calculate
the average of the last 15 items in the list?"

Return in about 1/2 hour and you will usually have several responses.

If the Responders need more information, you will see their counter-questions.

The advantages are:

1. you will usually see several different approaches
2. your knowledge of Excel will increase

HI Ken
You could describe what you want with a sample of what you got and what you
expect.
Or you can upload a sample file at this site :http://savefile.com/ follow
the instruction,
you will get an address that you post back and people can reply with
solutions.
Your choice

I have a spreadhseet..the upper portion is my analysis..that I have freeze
panes down to row 35...below row 35 is my data...the upper portion hass
tandard col widths..the lower "data portions" I need different widths of
columns..how do I set up the two different portions on my sheet?

HI Ken
You can't have two different width on a column, but a work-around would be
to merge to cells together letting you size the lower portionof your file.
Caution, merge cells can give you all sorts of problems with formula,
sorting and others.
Maybe someone else can come up with a better idea.
