I need email sending help

I have tried to send an email to someone (size 23mb) over a month ago. This
email has been trying to send forever (since the time I sent it) without
success. I am at the point where I want to stop the trnsmission but
everytime I click to delete it the email message I get is "can't open this
item. Outlook has already begun transmitting this message". I thought that
after a while it would time out but it still hasn't and I don't know how to
get rid of it. Also, because that email is in transmission mode it will not
let any other emails out, so all my other emails are sitting in que. What can
I do to stop that transmission and remove that email? Please help.

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. Delete the
message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline.
