How do I stop an email transmission?

I have started to send a large email and now I want to cancel it because it's
just sitting in my out box and not going anywhere. When I try and delete it,
it will not stop. It says "sending transmission" and for the life of me I
cant get rid of it. It's even holding up other emails I have sitting in my
outbox.

Put Outlook offline or open it in safe mode and try to delete that way, or
