I need a simple password

When I add a new account into the Active Directory it
displays a message saying ((Windows cannot set the
password for test because:the password doesn't meet the
passowrd policy requirements. check the minimum password
lenght,password complexity and password history
requirements.windows will attempt to re-create the user
object.if windows cannot re-create the user ibject,
contact your system administrator)).

How can I change that to allow any password to be used?

hello Britta,
It seems you have set group policy in active
directory users and computers for password policy. go to
active directory users and computers. Right click
organizational unit in which u want to create (or check
all organizational units exist in Active directory) go to
properties. in the properties window select group policy
tab. select the existing group policy and click edit. it
will open new mmc with group policy. go to computer
configuration then windows settings then security settings
then account policies and then password policy. now you
can see all password policies and you can change all
restrictions.
i think this will solve the problem. if you dont
have any organizational units in active directory then
check default group policy.
