Yeah, control alt delete then click on the Task Manager, then click on the
Processes tab. Shut down your other running programs from the desktop first
and the vast majority (like 99%) of the CPU slices should show up under the
Idle. I used to upgrade PCs for people; hardware, settings, configuration
wise. These days the majority of stuff I do "upgrading" them is killing off
virii, spyware, trojans, crap that they're not knowledgable enough to do on
their own. So, take a long hard look at the processes that are sucking at
your CPU. Most likely Some of them shouldn't be there.
I am looking for a utility to show exactly how much memory each process
on my win2k box is using.
For some reason my PC is very slow and I can not figure out why...
