I need a hotfix!

Hello,

We have several older laptops that we're reconfiguring for the local Police
Dept. here in Asheville, NC. We're trying to setup some USB devices, but are
unable to. The closest doc we've found on the MS website is article ID
822568 - USB Device is not recognized after computer starts up. According to
this article, we need a hotfix to remedy this situation. Since we're MS
partners (and have been for the past 6 years), can we get this hotfix for
free to make sure it works?

The article states that you need to call MS and just tell the Customer
Service people your looking for a hotfix and the article number and they'll
get it to you.

Hotfixes are always free. Microsoft is not responsible if it fries your
system but they do like to stay in touch with you to see how it worked out.
