I purchased a new computer and copied my 2000 outlook files to my new
computer, but now I cannot access those old files. The old computer ran
Windows 98 and the new computer runs Windows XP. Can anyone help me?

Making certain that you can view hidden files, search for a file with a .pst
file extension. When you find that file, make certain that its "Read Only"
attribute is off. Then, in Outlook, just open the file at its new location.

Here's the correct method. Go back to the original machine and try again.
