im using computer model T3990, that's eMachines, and it has a hard drive, C
and D. C is for windows and D is for system recovery in case i need to
reinstall windows. recently, i was trying to install windows xp pro in my 2nd
hard drive, and messed up! i removed the 2nd hard drive, and now the problem
occured. originally, when i turn on the computer, partition D was boot up
first and it gave 3 seconds to press F11 for system recovery then boot to
partition C after 3 seconds. now, it skips that 3 second to press F11 for
system recovery, meaning the computer skips C as default. how can i make
computer boot partition D first?

I am not at all clear about your drive problem.
C and D only have meaning after an operating system boots.
Where is the boot.ini file located?
What is the boot order of the drives?
Which partition is active?
What is the partition size?
