I messed up big time (Certificates in AD via ssl)

In an attempt to rectify a problem with a developer, I did the
following on my certificate server:

-Revoked certificate
-uninstalled certificate service in optional components wiz.
-reinstalled services

The certificate was no longer there, but now my developer keeps getting
a reference to the old certificate in his console even though the new
one was imported through JVM.

Any idea where certificate references go in AD in this scenario?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
