I lost my 'F' drive.

When I put a jump drive into the usb port the computer does not recognize it.
When I went to system restore it said that the changes to the F drive could
not be restored, because the drvivers were either excluded or cut off. What
do I do to get the drive back?
 
Thank you, thank you, so very much for the helpful information given to me to
help restore my lost 'F' drive once i unistall and restarted my computer, all
my drive ports were downloaded immdiatley ,even the printer was restored so
once again thank you!
