I lost all my mail and all folders

Hello All,
I've read all of the previous questions and suggestions about this topic,
but none seem to actally answer the question of whether or not my
mail/folders are recoverable. I've recreated my account and can send and
receive mail, but everything is still lost. When I go to the search bar from
the start button, and type, "windows mail file" all my prior folders and
messages show up, however if I try to open anything, it states that (file
path) could not be opened because it does not exist or is being used by
another application. So let's say that I uninstall my Mcafee Antivirus, will
I be able to restore or access my lost mail/folders? Any help would be
appreciated. FYI, I already tried to perform a "system restore" and it
doesn't appear to have worked. Thanks very much.

Uninstalling McAfee gets rid of one possible cause, but not all of
the other causes.

Thanks for responding Robert, but your response doesn't tell me if the
mail/folders can be recovered. Do you know if that's possible?

See if you can import messages from that location.

I have the same problem. I had deleted the files in
c:\users\(name)\searches\everywhere thinking they were temporary files. I
restored from the recycle bin. I have recovered a few just by chance. I need
the emails in the 'Sent' folder but haven't figured out how to retrieve them.
I'll post here if I find a way.
