i lost 18gb space!! help

today i want to cut & paste a 18gb file from D drive to C
drive, after tranfer half way i find it too long to
tranfer so i cancel it..

Now in my C drive, i find that i lost 18gb space.. & D
drive got 18gb space more... but the file is still in D
drive cannot be found on the C drive

i had do a scandisk but is not fixed.. how m i going to
fix this thing?

Can some1 be kind euff to teach me ?

yes recycle bin got nothing inside...
i even use search to search for the file but only D drive
have it.. but my C drive lost 18gb/// how
