I like some input on video

Hi all
I am curious if you where going to buy a new video card for vista, which one
would you buy, and why?

First it is important to know which of the following types of graphics you
are going to be displaying since depending on the answers a $50 or a $500
dollar graphics card could be appropriate.
1. Just normal PC desktop applicatons
2. TV programs using a SD NTSC tuner or a HD ATSC tuner or both
3. Heavy gaming applications.
4. Other video if so in what format and at what resolution
5. What type of displa(s) using what interface(s) and at what resolution.
