i have three xp pro systems , logging into an office network running Windows
2000 server and i seem to have the same issue on all of them. what happens
is this, first it seems to take for ever for the system to start up, when
they do they establish connections and map to the proper network drives, but
then if left unattended for 30 minutes or so, they will not run any
application that runs from the server. Internet access and email seem
uneffected. but active directory does not work either during this time.
if i log off and then logon again everything works, but the long process
sometime takes 5 to 10 minutes. the event log shows the following error
and well and a few other. any ideas?
Bob
