if safe doesn't work, see if add/remove has an option for plaxo. if not,
you'll need to edit the registry.
you could also try renaming the outcmd.dat file - it's toolbar
customizations and outlook will create a new one. This may allow outlook to
load with plaxo installed.

I haven't tried starting it in Safe Mode - but using the Command Prompt
doesn't have any effect.
When I click to open Outlook, the initail Splash screen comes up and then
immediately a message saying "Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem
and
needs to close". I then get the Error Report option.
I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2000 and haven't had any problems with it up
until now and up until I wanted to use Plaxo.

if you wait, does it eventually start?

I have recently installed the Plaxo toolbar software on my computer to
integrate contacts and calendar to access them online.
However, on re-starting my computer my Outlook will now not open at
all.
I've taken all the basic steps I can think of - does any one have any
tips
to help me?
