I imported messages from Outlook Express to Outlook 2002 - can't .

I used the export option in Outlook Express to get my old messages/folders to
OUtlook... However, I cannot delete any of the messages. It gives me a
"Messaging Interface has returned an unknown error...if continues restart
Outlook"... I have an I still can't get rid of them.

So, your messges are now in Outlook but you can't delete any of them. There
are three things I'd try: the first is to create a new PST, make it the
delivery location, and copy everything in the old PST to it. The second, if
that doesn't work, is to create a new mail profile, pointing it at your
existing PST. The third is a Help>Detect and Repair.
