I have two separate .avi's that I want to run simultaneously

I have two separate .avi's that I want to run simultaneously. Essentially I
want to run them side by side in one .avi How can this be done?

Open mplayer2.exe twice. WMP7 and newer never supported multiple instancing
due to possibilities of device contention.

Thanks for the response, however I was actually looking to merge the 2 avi's
into one avi. I recorded one event from two different viewpoints concurrently
(one looking forward and one looking aft). Now I want to dispolay both of
those views in one avi simultaneously. Any ideas?

See www.papajohn.org for how to make MM utilise both avis, though you'll
have to lose something as you can't get two full avi's to fill one avi
screen, so it's either make tehn a 1/4 size adn have them shown this way or
crop them and fill the screen.
