I have trouble with the document freezing and locking the compute

I have trouble with the document freezing and locking the computer and taking
the processor to 99% with I have the edit restrictions turned on and the Star
Enforcing Protection. I use a lot of templates. And this has been an ongoing
item.
 
Is this with a particular (type of) document or with any (protected)
document?
