I have the same reverb on everything...

What for ? What's that going to solve ?

Fix it as against making the problem go away !

Do you have a Soundblaster card ? If so go to the mixer centre and turn off
any effects that may have been initialised. Same for any other soundcard
software.

what i ended up doing was going and downloading the latest driver for my
soundcard and that fixed it!
