i have somehow deleted my administrator account

hi there!
need some advice as i accidently deleted my administrator
account.
i have been told that i have to reinstall windows and
start over.
would like to know if there is any other way to do it, as
this is a bit extreme as i am in the middle of a course
and have alot of work stored.
not being an administrator is causing me problems.

Did you deleted the "administrator" user or an user who has
administrator power??

- If you deleted the user with administrator power, try logging in
with the administrator user.

When you create the first user on your system, the Administrator account
is hidden from the Welcome Screen. Press Ctl-Alt-Del twice and you can
type "Administrator" in the logon box and enter the password and get
logged onto the Administrator account.

I recommend leaving Administrator for emergencies and using another
admin account for day-to-day admin tasks.
