i have a p4 system with mercury motherboard. but when i power on it
displaying different errors(not the same). when i try to move the RAM
in slot in very rare case it is working. it is happening in the two
RAM slots. but the RAM is properly working when it is attached to
other system. what would be the problem. is it possible to change the
RAM slot of mother board if the slots were damaged.

the RAM slots sure could be bad.

Get a bright light and a magnifying glass and have a good look.

It might be dust in there but could be worse.
