I have some folders that only show in Move to Folder drop down

I am using Outlook 2007 and there are some folders that I can only see when I
am in a message and have clicked on the Move to Folder icon and am given a
list of folders to move the message to. I don't see those folders on left
side of the screen as subfolders, as I would expect. Where are those folders?
How can I see them and/or access the messages in them?

I have tried running the scanpst.exe program and tried running the Office
diagnostics program....to no avail.

What types of iems do these folders contain? If you use the Folder List
view of the Navigation Pane do you see them?

Brian,

The folders should contain email messages. I will verify with the user how
she created the folders. Using the Folder List view doesn't show them. The
only place I can see them is by clicking on the Move to Folder icon within a
message. The folders listed in the drop down are not listed in the Folder
List and the folders in the Folder List are not in the drop down. With the
exception of two folders I have created today, after running the diagnostics
and scanpst.exe. Maybe one of those fixed the problem going forward

The Most Recently Used list that appears when you click the Move to Folder
button on the Standard toolbar isn't a list of the folders you have. It's a
list of folders you've used recently that you may have had when you last
moved something, but it's not a list of your current folder set. New
folders could have been added, old folders deleted, even entire PSTs added
or removed from the profile, which means that some of the choices in the
list may no longer exist. Only if you click the Move to Folder button and
then click "Move to Folder..." at the bottom will you see a list of current
folders.

Brian,

I figured it out....She hadn't been paying attention to where she was adding
the new folders she was creating and they were being created as subfolders in
whatever folder happened to be highlighted at the time. Thank you for your
help.
