I have received a note as an attachment, can I save the note?

I am trying to save paper by using elctronic notes rather than posts-its.
This is a 'green issue'.
If someone sends me a note it comes as an attchement to an email and I
cannot save the Note just the email.
I just want to sdave the Note on its own.

Is there any way I can save the Note into the Notes box?

Which version of Outlook?
Drag and drop the Note attachment to a Notes folder works fine for me.

Is this an Outlook note that would normally be in a Notes folder? If so,
just drag the attachment to your Notes folder.
