Attach an intenal note to a mail.

Hi

Frequently I wish to attach a note to a mail I have received or earlier
sent.

I do not want to change the contents of the mail, but I want to apply
additional information, that will not be sent if I reply or forward the
mail.

Often I write some notes on a yellow "Post It" and attaches these a letter I
have recieved. But I do not find an equivalent option in Outlook.

I know that there is Notes in Outlook, but I haven't seen any way to
relate/connect a note with a specific mail.

Can anyone help me?

As far as I can tell, mail items don't have that feature. If you modify the
message to include additional information, then you've modified it, but it's
still one item and if you forward it or reply to it, the changes you've made
are part of it and will go along.

Hi Brian

I do not mean ”attach a note” as an attached file to the document, which
will change the content of the mail document.
I am looking some property to the mail containing my private notes, notes
that are not a part of the mail document.

I already answered that. There is no such property that I can find.
