I have an outline in word with a # highlighted, I need to remove.

I am doing an outline in word and one of my numbers is highlighted, but I
can't get it to come off. I have tried to select it and click on highlight,
none, but it is not working. Please help.

Try clicking on the numbering button on the toolbar to turn off numbering of
that line.
