I have an email that will not leave my outbox

I have an email that will not leave my outbox, even though it has been
received by the recepient. I have tried deleting it, dragging it to drafts,
etc and nothing happens. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please let
me know.

File - Work Offline

Try to delete the message now.

Click File, check Work Offline, then stop and restart Outlook. You should
be able to delete the message. When done, click File and uncheck Work
Offline.

This problem is usually caused by scanning outgoing messages with your
antivirus scanner. That serves no purpose.
