Hello All,
I'v just purchased a HP 2600N. I've just started a new practice and
thought that I could use it to print targeted marketing materials.

I believe I'm going to like it but need to figure something out.

I have a one page marketing/capabilities overview and the testimonials
section is supposed to print with a light green screen. It's turning
out wavy and inconsistent. Is it the paper? the quality/resolution of
the image (document is in Publisher)?

I apologize if this is not the best forum. If there's a "better" group
to which to post the question - just educate me.

Thanks.

Frank.

Hard to see what you mean without a picture, but it could certainly be
the screen. Depending on the screen and the printer, you can get
printing artifacts that might appear as wavy and inconsistent. These
are the same artifacts one gets printing any bitmap to a different
resolution bitmap, it's just that it shows a lot more on a single color.
If you look closely and can see a repeating pattern, that's them.

Solutions will be limited by your software.

A desktop publishing newsgroups would probably be a better place.
