I have a driver, cd disk, Drivers for above came w/printer on disk failed.

Please, I Own a IBM A30 PENT-3 486, iM TRYING TO INSTALL A lexmark-x75. it came with a cd disk, it failed to install. I should also say, its a scanner. I will be using a USB PORT.

There is a XP driver on the Lexmark site, maybe newer than yours, it has an October
03 time stamp.

"P3 486" - I've never come across a 486MHz CPU - IIRC, P3s went up in 50s
(450, 500, 550, 600, etc). Googling for 'IBM A30' - tells me it's a 1GHz
ThinkPad (i.e. a laptop) - I've not found anything on an A30 with a "486".
Searching IBM's site gives me no results for an A30 with a P3 CPU at all -
are you running XP on this system? That said, have you been to Lexmark's
website and downloaded the latest driver (whatever OS you might be running).
