I have a database that, for one user only, read-only and I can't

Just to forewarn, I am a self-taught access user so I'm not extrememly
familiar with the technical jargon, but here's my question:

I created a database and pasted it into a folder on our office network. All
users (approximately 6) but one are able to use it just fine. We had one user
who just had access installed this past week (the db was posted earlier in
the same week before she had the access program) and now she only has
read-only access to the db. I've tried deleting the db on the network and
re-placing it there, I've checked the security access attributes and
read-only is not selected, so I'm pulling my hair out trying to allow this
woman into the database, she needs to be able to edit and enter information
into a form.

Thanks in advance!

Does she have full access to the folder on the LAN? In other words, are her
Windows permissions set properly? To truly share a database she will need
the ability to read, write, modify, and delete from that folder.

Yes, I fixed her permissions. I had asked the user multiple times if they had
edit access to other items within the folder and they had incorrectly
indicated to me that they did when the permissions for the user were
accidentally set to read only when the folder was moved last week.

Thanks for the help!
