I hate Vista

XP is getting old.. Vista should have been better than XP, a new OS for a
new era of computing..

not a friken zombie OS that has tens of thousands of problems..

who's stopping you ??? you'll just stop getting updates at some point, but
apparently you don't like new things anyway.
you can still use win95 if you'd like. there is no law against it.

The original comment was that you can't use XP indefinitely. Well you can
use it indefinitely. You can also use Windows 3.1 today, DOS today, Win ME
today. Load whatever you want. It's your choice. I have had a few
glitches, like UAC. So I just disabled it. I have had not one BSOD since I
loaded Vista in February. As time goes on it will become smoother. No
software for any application has ever been released without a glitch.
That's why you always see new versions for everything. Check the software
on your PC. How many programs are using V1.0?

One question. What problems are you having?

I have no problems on vista.. I have solved them all by work arounds.

But others cannot do that. So my problem is with Vista and its impact on the
world.

We have all learned to solve various computer problems over the years by
confronting the problem. We get help from others and from public news
groups. No matter what OS a beginner will be using there will be problems.
Vista is no different.

Am i the only one who LIKES vista?, ive had it for a good few months, never
had a days problem with it, it loads up ALOT faster than XP, is better
designed, user friendly, an all round great operating system !

Which will be corrected in the long run, just like it happened with the
previous versions of the NT classed O/S Vista is in, like NT 4.0, 2k, and
XP. They all had problems when they were released. It's much to do about
nothing.

No, you're not. Others have said the same thing on this forum.

For good, or bad, it's called change. I guess you may not be up to it, or
maybe your computer isn't.

Do you have a license to use Windows XP?
Then you can use it indefinitely and no one will force you to switch
to something else.

"Much ado about nothing" is the term you were looking for, I believe, Mr.
Arnold. :-D

PS
I agree. :-)

I got that from a friend I use to work with from Russia. You know the type
if you have been around Russian people, which are right to the point about
it nothing fancy. :)
