I had Microsoft word, now I have notepad, any way I can get back .

I had windows 98, and I would prefer to use Word over notepad, which I find
does not offer the same qualities as word did. I thought that going from 98
to XP was a step up not a step backwards, anyone have any suggestions?

This is a Microsoft Access newsgroup. You should post to a Word newsgroup.

But, Word and Notepad are two separate applications. Notepad is an
accessory that comes with Windows. Word is part of Microsoft office. I
would think you would simply need to put your Office CD in the drive and
reload Word from there.
