I got a problem

I think I got that big virus that hit the web not to long
a go so I install norton 2004 and ran update on it and
did a full system scan quarintined all 16 virus
infections it had and now xp wants to do a forced shut-
down about 4 times a day which gets anoying so please help

Did you run removal tool from symantec

Norton/help/symantec response center. To run removal tool
you have to turn off system restore, My computer/
Properties/ System restore tab/ check turn off system
restore click ok. Run symantec removal tool (you can get
more information at their site). Hope this helps.

the Welchia virus is present on your machine and will
cause XP to shut down. The full version of NAV/SAV will
detect but not remove the virus. You must run the manual
removal tool from SAV to delete the instance that is
residing on teh unit.
