I get automatically logged off after x amount of time

How do I stop this?
When I leave my pc on overnight to download large update
files i find that in the morning my user account has been
logged off and my applications and connections have
terminated after various amounts of time. How do I prevent
this? I'm the "administrator" it's a home pc - not networked.

I asume that you didn't configure the local security policy. That's where
things like this would be set.
Check your Power settings under the control panel and set everything to
NEVER exept the monitor. Also click on the Hybernate tab and disable
hybernation.

I am having the same problem after installing Act!2005.
Act automatically intalled the .net framework 1.1 before
installing itself. Since then my computer returns to the
login screen after 15 minutes of idle time.

I have been searching all over trying to find a way to
disable this auto logoff feature but no luck so far.
Have gone through knowledge base,
explored "administrative tools" at length but no solution
so far. If anyone finds a way of disabling automatic log
off please advise as this is not only irritating but an
impediment to functionality.

Same circumstances as Kieron machine has WinXP Home.
