I am working on a friend's computer that was not
functioning properly after win98-->winXP upgrade. Right
now the situation is: 2 error messages at beginning and
then screen uses only four colors and low resolution, they
could not be fixed, but they always returned to this
setting. And nstalled again the WinXP in order to fix
things. It got better because now I have ok resolution nad
colors but The error messages are still there and go like
this:
RUNDLL32.exe Entry not found. The procedure entry point
ThunkConnect 32 could not be located in the dynamic link
library KERNEL32.DLL.
Error in NvQTwk. Missing entry: NvCplDaemon.
Can I erase/recopy these files to the HD or should I try to
tweak the registry (if these are some links to old
stuff)maybe??? I have Regcleaner that I have used a
couple of times so I know how it works (and I do take
backup copies too).
Please can anyone help, not much help to return this
computer to my good friend if it looks like this.
