I found a site called "Freeware Video Editors"

When I was trying to find out more about ABC videoroll.

http://www.hollmen.dk/articles/videoedit.htm

The only freeware video editor I know of that is missing is moviexone.

It has a way to fix the ABC videoroll registration problem. It also
fixes ABC vidioroll not always coming up in windows. It is the best
information I have found about ABC videoroll.

The other editors it reviews but I am not sure that the reviews are
very accurate. Still, it is nice to have this many freeware video
editors in one place.

The site provides a path to MovieMaker 2.0 install file, but does not
do the same for version 2.1. Those (like me) who already have Movie
Maker 2.1 may like to have a real installation file for putting onto
other computers. If we already have it installed, MS provides no
option to download the file for our own archival purposes... or is
there some secret URL path to do so?

As far as I know, MovieMaker is part of WindowsXP and not really a separate
downloadable and installable program. It's sort of like Outlook Express,
part of the OS. Choose to use or not.
