error", and "disable script debugging" is checked. why
on some sites do i still get:

I.E script error
line:
char:
error:
code:
url:
do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
yes/no

it only happens on a few sites, but is ANNOYING, and i
can't find out why its telling me of every error when its
not supposed to!

thanks for help!

bigdaddy,
Most of the time this is just errors on the web site ..... not your end.
However some ad-blocking apps will cause this (script error) when the ad or
banner fails to display.

Internet Options | Advanced
Select: "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck: "Display a notification about every script error", click Apply\Ok
[more info]
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/mdm.htm

Verify these Registry entries exist and are correct:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Disable Script Debugger"="yes"
"Error Dlg Details Pane Open"="yes"
"Error Dlg Displayed On Every Error"="no"
"NoJITSetup"=dword:00000000
"NoWebJITSetup"=dword:00000001

Note: always Export before editing .....

I had the same problem it turned out that I had to
uninstall my explorer 6.0 and go to microsoft web site to
for instruction on completely removing the IE 6. and then
removing the information from the windows registry.

thanks for reply mike, i tried everything you suggested,
but no luck.
i never saw
"Error Dlg Details Pane Open"="yes"
on my registry here
"NoWebJITSetup"=dword:00000001
was there, but w/a "0" value - changed it, no luck,
changed it back the way it was. anything else?
thanks!
