Hewlett Packard pc
512 megs. ram
2.4 processor
WinXP home
I.e. 6

Lately, when I try to access websites I get a runtime
error. There are at least 3 of them I have to "ok' before
the website will open. Sometimes I can't access some web-
sites at all. Not a clue what to do.

thanks,
bob

"A runtime error has occured.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 31
Error: 'null' is null or not an object."

*After I press "yes", this message appears:

"Just-In-Time Debugging
An exception 'Runtime jError' has occured in Script.
However, no deguggers are registered that can debug this
exception. Unable to JIT debug."

*Then the whole scenario is repeated 5 more times before I
can enter the website--in this case tvguide.com. This also
happens at other websites with a "line" other than "31".

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0.
Choose the download appropriate for your operating system.

Thanks, Henri. The "disable script debugging"
command worked perfectly.
