i.e. 6 went south on me I neetd help

I don't know what happened, but everytime I open i.e. 6 now
I get a page that says "this page cannot be displayed" I
have done all my updates and have run spyware sofeware to
see if something got highjacked, the funny thing is is if I
log on to a secure server it works just fine......
something either got deleted or is missing does anyone
have any suggestions?
