I dont know what to do

I dont know what to do when I go to my control panel and choose an option in it the windows explorer freezes up. I am not allowed to do anything else. What should I do? Is there any help for this problem? I dont have the option of a reinstall this software was installed by the manufacturer so no disks. Any help would be greatly apperciated.
 
Click control panel and then on the left side click 'switch to classic view'.
