I don't have "Advanced Options" and "Security" Tabs in IE6

I don't have "Advanced Options" and "Security" Tabs. I have reinstalled IE,
but can't view these tabs. Any idea.

Start-Run-Regedit
There could be more than one "AdvancedTab" value.
Try these keys first and then search for AdvancedTab (no space)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Control Panel

Remove "AdvancedTab" if present.

Do the same for "SecurityTab".

You should also investigate the possible parasite that removed the
tabs.

Try the following and see if it helps:

Restore all tabs under Internet Options

Restore All Tabs under Internet Options
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/iegentabs.reg
to restore your tabs and remove any restrictions that the parasite has put
in place.



and.....



Resets all the IE functions - for windows, hangups,

Start> Run> Paste this
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll

and then do the same with each one of the following..

regsvr32 Shell32.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
