I deleted an old appointment but cannot get rid of the reminder; .

I have already run the "Detect and Repair" function but to no avail. Even
though I dismiss current reminders, because the 2 old ones cannot find the
appointments they were associated with, NONE of my reminders can be deleted.
I've tried adding in the old appointments to see if this would help the
reminders find their 'parents', but it isn't working. If anyone has some
suggestions I'd be very appreciative!

Try this:

close Outlook. At start menu, run, type
outlook.exe /cleanreminders

This did not work. Do I need the complete pathway, and if so, which one?
Outlook appears in several places. Thanks.

Right click on the outlook icon on the quick launch bar and choose
properties to get your path - it may be "C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE"
