Not sure if present queries posted answer mine or not, whether minor
differences are enough to matter, so here's hoping my situation is any more
hopeful.
Somehow, my daughter wound up with multiple user folders, some with her name
misspelled. As a perfectionist, this was bugging me... a lot. Long story
short, I deleted the wrong folder. I've accidentally deleted my daughter's
user folder - pretty certain that it contained homework, poetry, other
irreplaceable stuff.
Definitely not looking forward to her finding
out... she doesn't even know, and already I feel awful enough.
I don't recall seeing anything about a "save files" option some posts have
mentioned. The welcome screen still lists her as a user, but the directory
doesn't list her with the other users (folders alongside C:/ that say "Joe's
documents," etc.). Also, it won't let me create a new folder.
I tried Restore... seems like I recovered everything but, including a cold
I had last month!
*sigh* So... any suggestions are welcome... any
cause for hope even more so. Thank you.
