What are you trying to "import/export"?

If you are referring to the import/export button from the File Menu (which
is the only place where an <import/export> appears in the Outlook
import/export process) - then the first screen that appears is a screen
asking what action you want to perform. If you are getting the error there -
you most certainly have an Outlook config issue and would suggest doing a
"Detect 'n Repair" from within Outlook.

If this is an error coming from somewhere else in the process - a lot more
specific info is required. However, in the interests of time to minimize
messages here, if this is coming from the final step of the import process
(which would not be invoked by an import/export button and where this error
is most likely to occur) - then the probable cause of the problem is a
record with invalid field data being imported. If that's the case, check the
last contact imported to the folder and then look at the corresponding
record in your data file. Your suspect record would be the one immediately
following the last successfully imported record. If you can't determine the
cause of the problem in that record - delete it and try again.

If you were doing an export function - just reverse the process described
above. The problem would be related to a corrupt contact record and unless
the error occured on the first contact being processed - there would be some
records in the output file for reference purposes.
